SUMMERSTOCK 2008 OFFERS A SUMMER OF SHAKESPEARE AND SEUSS!!! In conjunction with the 5 th anniversary of our Shakespeare on the Green program and our 18 th Summer Youth Theatre production, Seussical the Musical , SUMMERSTOCK 2008 explores two artists who’ve inspired us through language.   Summerstock Creative Theatre: Green Eggs and Hamlet?  (June 25 - July 3; Monday-Friday, 9:30am-4:30pm) – for ages 11 to 16. This workshop is filling fast.  ACT NOW!   Students will explore three distinct types of acting: Improvisation, Modern Acting and Shakespeare.   In age appropriate groups, they will work on scenes and acting techniques while building self-confidence, creativity and performance instincts.. Current Employment Opportunities
Summer Employment

Our Summer Youth Theatre production staff positions and Summerstock Workshop program positions are currently full.  Please watch this website for details regarding next summer (2009).

 

We ARE, however, in need of youth crew members between the ages of 10 and 21 for our Summer Youth Theatre production of SEUSSICAL.  Positions are on a volunteer basis and offer the opportunity to learn and enhance technical skills in a professional facility.  Positions entail: set construction and painting, props, costumes, lighting, sound and running crew (must be available all dates from Aug. 2 to 17, 2008).  Work days will take place on Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.

 

Anyone interested are welcome to come down to the Sterling Farms Theatre Complex for our CREW SIGN UP DAY, Sunday June 1st from 12-4pm.  Members of our production staff will be available to answer any questions and to review the production schedule and commitment.
